Lilly Pulitzer for Target

Happy Monday!

I am not usually a Lilly Pulitzer fan but I happened to come across the look book for her new collection with Target and I was quite impressed.  I'm considering even picking up a few pieces when they debut.  I mean how adorable is the pineapple dish & yellow romper?!

Friday Five

Happy Friday ladiessss (and maybe gents)!!  I'm so glad it's the weekend, per usual.  I'm hoping to do a little spring cleaning and of course relax  What're you up to? 

1.  I DIYed a forsythia wreath last weekend much like this one, but I think next up with be this beauty for Summer. 

2. I spent way to much at Express last night, I couldn't help myself.  Loving their ankle pants this year, perfect for my 9-5 desk job (I may grab a few more!)

3. obsessed with the design of this beach cottage.  It's beachy without being all anchors and stripes.

4. how adorable are these tone on tone roman numerals which represent blogger, Jenna Sue's wedding date?

5. loved this tropical 4th of July wedding!!

Tulle Tuesday

I don't think anything is girlier than a tulle skirt and Spring here (or coming here, I hope), it's the perfect time to break out your tulle skirt or grab one if you don't have one already.  They are perfect for bridal showers, bachelorette parties, weddings as a guest or even a bride (!!!) or the grocery store, if that's your thing ;)

I have my own tulle skirt which I wore for our 1st anniversary pictures this past year.  It's from Space 46 Boutique.  Space 46 is a bit on the pricier side than some others below but they have so many options and lengths.  How amazing is the red maxi [swoon].  It would be perfect for Christmas photos (my husband would kill me ha!).

Mani Monday

I don't know about you but I love to get my nails done.  Every two weeks or so me and my bestie have a manicure date (we do gel).  I always feel so much better after my nails are clean and fresh plus it's guaranteed girl time -- win // win.  If you follow me on Instagram you know my love of mani's.  More often than not I choose an accent nail whether it's glitter or a design because why wouldn't I choose glitter ;)

Friday Five

Happy Friday friends!!  I'm so glad it's the weekend.  It's also supposed to be the first day of Spring yet it's going to snow tonight #goawaywinter!  I'm hoping to have a relaxing, yet productive weekend.  What're you up to? 

1.  I love Mar Y Sol totes but they are bit on the high side.  Just found a less than $30 look alike!

2. I just picked these beauties up last night and obsessed is not even the word.  Cannot wait to wear them!

3. loving this planter basket DIY and splatter napkins.

4. If you're on a time crunch and need the perfect photo (for free!) for your blog post, look no further.

5. Thinking about cutting my hair soon.  this this and this are on the top of my list.

Insta Life

 the weather this past weekend was a bit rainy but I really wanted to go to West Elm in Boston.  Hubs agreed and on Sunday we headed up.  We grabbed Georgetown Cupcakes (favorite cupcakes ever!) on our way home and pretty pink roses at the grocery store.

another $7 necklace score but this time from a local store we have, Laila Rowe!  Paired with oldies but goodies, H&M trench and Target sweater. 

p.s. did you notice the new blog changes?  I finally caved and purchased a new layout and LOVE it!  I'm hoping to tweak it a bit more over the next few months as well.

Green with Envy

 Happy St. Patrick's Day ya'll!  I think I'm less than 5% Irish and other than an Irish themed drink at home, I haven't celebrated in a few years.  I'm okay with that ;)

Instead of sharing festive drinks, decor or food since let's face it, the day is almost over, I thought I would share some "green" fashion that realistically you could wear all year round.  But if you're like me, sometimes certain colors feel like certain holidays and I just can't wear those pieces except around those times.  For instance, I have a shamrock green sweater that I for sure could wear today, but don't except to see me in it any other day.  I didn't wear it though, I wore olive green instead.  Ha!

 

My favorites are the shoes and scarf!  Have a great Tuesday!

Rompin' Around

It's 58 degrees here today which has me in a Spring state of mind.  Speaking of Spring, does anyone else love the romper/jumpsuit trend as much as I do?!  I seriously can't get enough.  They are comfortable and easy to throw on and go.  I don't think you can go wrong.  I love all the variations as well besides pants vs. shorts there are ultra dressy, very casual and everywhere in between.  I personally own two rompers and two jumpsuits and I may have a few others on my wish list.  One of something is never enough.  Don't judge :)
