July Wishlist

Hey there!  Remember me? ;)  

So I wanted to start a new string series on the blog.  I already do Insta Life every so often (I've been bad about posting since my outfits haven't been all that exciting lately).  I'm going to do a wishlist every month that includes fashion, beauty and home decor items.  Some months may include all three categories some may include one or two of them.  Then maybe at the end of the month do a roundup of what I actually bought, if anything and if I like the items or why I didn't buy them.

I am also trying to come up with some other new content for the blog so if you have any suggestions or things you would like to see, let me know!!

1. Jaclyn Hill's Champagne Pop Highlight by Becca Cosmetics. Recently I've become obsessed with Jaclyn Hill.  She's a beauty YouTuber.  Go check her out!

2. Philosphy Fresh Cream lotion.  I've heard nothing but good things and I have a hard time finding lotion I love so we shall see.

3. Make Up Forever smoothing primer.  Because well Jaclyn Hill told me to ;)  I also want to try the mattifying version since I have oily skin.

 4.  Jack Rogers black jelly sandals.  Not only adorable but so versatile.  I have a hard time finding black sandals where the sole is also black, most are brown.  I don't like that.  I have one pair that I wear almost daily to work in the summer and wellll they are getting old.

5.  White scallop shorts because they're adorable and perfect for Summer.

6.  This gingham dress is perfection.  Perfect for summer bbq or for work #officelife.

Insta Life

Tuesday Shoesday

Happy Tuesday ladies!  I don't know about you but when the warmer weather starts to come around, I start looking for new shoes.  Who am I kidding, I look for new shoes all year ;)  

I rounded up some of my favorite picks for Spring/Summer.  I actually have the middle row espadrilles (from Target!) and love them.  They are really comfy and go with everything.  I am really loving the New Balance sneakers and rose gold slides.  I just realized my choices are all pretty neutral, which is fine with me because then you can get more use out of them, right?!

High or Low

Happy Monday!!  I don't know about you but Monday always feels like this to me.  Today is no exception.  However, today I've come to save you money, that is if you want to.  And who doesn't?!

I've been recently seeing the Mar Y Sol totes pop up everywhere.  They are perfect!  But their price tag, not so much.  Then I came across these Old Navy ones that are verrry similar.  Similar enough for me to save the $98 considering this is more than likely a beach tote which here in New England would be used for 3ish months out of the year. 

 

Waht do you think?  Would you pick the high or the low? Do you already have either of these totes?!

Friday Five

Happy Friday ladies!!  It's gloomy here today BUT the weekend is supposed to be beautiful!!

1. I've always liked makeup but lately I have started to really get into it more.  I want to get better.  I need more products.  I found a new obsession, Jaclyn Hill.  You must check her out.  She recently did a tour of her beauty room, TO DIE FOR.  And because of her, I've already bought this, this, this, annnd this (for palettes).  I've always loved acrylic organizer pieces but seeing these in her video makes it so much easier to pull the trigger to buy them.

Going to the chapel...

Sorry for the short hiatus!  I was having an uninspired moment.  I also meant to get this post up yesterday and got busy.  

With all the weddings and wedding events coming up, I thought it would be nice to share some options for bridal showers based on themes.  I love a good theme and moreso when I can coordinate my attire with it.  I love all of these looks and I actually have and will be wearing the dress in the "Garden Party" look later this Summer.  You recently saw it here!

Mani Monday

I don't know about you but I love to get my nails done.  Every two weeks or so me and my bestie have a manicure date (we do gel).  I always feel so much better after my nails are clean and fresh plus it's guaranteed girl time -- win // win.  If you follow me on Instagram you know my love of mani's.  More often than not I choose an accent nail whether it's glitter or a design because why wouldn't I choose glitter ;)

Outdoor Bar with Chairish

I don't know about you but one of my favorite things to do in the summer is grill and be outside with friends.  Their really isn't anything better.  Chairish asked me to put together a style board using some of their awesome bar stools, showing  what I would love my outdoor bar to look like.  If you haven't heard of Chairish or don't know what they do, you're missing out.  They make it fun and easy for design lovers to buy and sell pre-loved decor to one another.  And they have so many unique pieces, you're sure to find something to fit your style!

I started with their wicker bar stools because they scream summer to me.  All it took was the bar, of course, and some fun accessories!  Oh and the drinks, can't forget the drinks ;)   I love the green bowls because they have some color and are perfect for nuts or snacks for your guests!  I hope this gives your some inspiration go out and create your perfect bar area, where it's in your backyard or at party!  But most of all enjoy you're summer!
